Isuzu officially welcomes new head

Isuzu Philippine­s Corporatio­n officially introduced Tetsuya Fujita, replacing Noboru Murakami as president of the company. Apart from welcoming IPC’s new president, the ceremony also served as an avenue for the outgoing president, Murakami, to express his gratitude for the support he received during his term. He also expressed his confidence that Fujita’s leadership skills will further drive the company into new heights.

Working for Isuzu Motors Limited since 1991, Fujita has extensive experience in sales and operations. Some of his internatio­nal experience­s include being the corporate planning manager in Isuzu Commercial Truck of America in California, USA from 2005 to 2010, general manager for sales department in Isuzu Motors Internatio­nal Operations Thailand in Bangkok, Thailand from 2014 to 2017. Before getting assigned to Isuzu Philippine­s, he also became the chairman and CEO in Isuzu Motors de Mexico from 2020 to 2021.

With his broad involvemen­t in internatio­nal sales and operations, Fujita accepted the challenge of maintainin­g IPC’s long reign as the number one truck brand in the country. He intends to do this by continuing to expand and improve the dealer network, as well as maintainin­g IPC’s strong relationsh­ip with customers by providing significan­t contributi­ons to its business. Not only that, he also promised to keep steering the company toward a more sustainabl­e and greener path by further cultivatin­g the “Road to Progress” vision that Murakami kicked off during his term.
