In 2024, Krispy Kreme passes the happiness baton to 12 chosen OGs, or ‘Dozen Happy OGs,’ representi­ng various fields, such as music, wellness, food, gaming and more.

Over the years, Krispy Kreme has delighted its guests, also fondly referred to as Originals, with smiles with delectable doughnuts and beverages.

This is the core of its Spot Happy campaign, which aims to bring happiness along with your favorite sweet treats from the Home of the Original Glazed Doughnuts, and then spread that joy to those around you.

The challenge for Krispy Kreme’s Originals is to spot happy moments in their day and amplify their joy using the world-famous Original Glazed® doughnut as their lens.

In 2024, Krispy Kreme passes the happiness baton to 12 chosen OGs, or “Dozen Happy OGs,” representi­ng various fields, such as music, wellness, food, gaming and more. These individual­s are the key players in initiating the chain of happiness that the brand aspires to create.

Launching the festivitie­s is Happy Music OG, as personifie­d by Maki, the singer behind the hit-single “Saan?” He’s set to make waves with the release of his “Happy Tunes” song on his social media platforms this January.

For February, Happy Art OG Gene Rhobi, a.k.a seeweirdo, has something special in store for the National Art Month. He will lend his artistic touch in an exclusive sticker design and an art workshop to be held at one of Krispy Kreme’s stores.

March, dedicated to Internatio­nal Women’s Month, will feature superwoman Jo Sebastian, a nutritioni­st and podcast host, leading a wellness talk. Next, sportscast­er Baileys Acot takes the stage as the Happy Sports OG in April.

In the merry month of May PAWSsion Project founder, Malou Perez, becomes the Happy Pets OG, to lead the National Pet Month. Come June, Krispy Kreme Originals x Syndrome merchandis­e will be launched, while welcoming Anton Cruz, a co-founder of Syndrome, as the Happy Fashion OG.

For Krispy Kreme’s birthday month in July, content creator Russco Jarviña brings his infectious energy. August then features TikTok trending foodie creator Abi Marquez, who will share unique cooking techniques with the beloved glazed doughnuts.

In September, beauty content creator Marj Maroket takes inspiratio­n from the Original Glazed® doughnut to create a totally unique look. October sees TikTok Top Education Creator of 2022, RM Cuervas, sharing his knowledge as the Happy Educator.

In November, Happy Dancer OG, Shawn Castro, dances his way to happiness, while Tier One’s Rojean Delos Reyes tests her skills as the Happy Gamer OG in December to conclude the year.

“With the help of our Dozen Happy OGs, we aim to be the champions of happy moments because everyone deserves it,” says Ysabel Cruz, senior marketing manager of Krispy Kreme Philippine­s. “Let’s pass on the good vibes in 2024! We, at Krispy Kreme, and our Dozen Happy OGs, are starting a movement to promote happy moments.”
