SMX CONVENTION CENTER CLARK AND OLONGAPO WIN HONORS
SMX Convention Center Clark and Olongapo bagged multiple awards at the recently concluded Department of Tourism Region 3 — Tourism Recognition for Enterprises and Stakeholders Awards at the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
The TRES Awards hosted by D.O.T. Region 3 aims to recognize the outstanding contributions of public and private stakeholders in Central Luzon’s tourism sector. S.M.X. Convention Center Clark and Olongapo, being part of the scenic and rich lands of Central Luzon, made their mark on the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions categories.
S.M.X. Convention Center Clark brought home the following awards: Winner — Tourism Quality Awards — MICE Exhibition Category, Winner — Tourism Quality Awards — MICE Event Venue Category, and 2nd Runner Up — Tourism Quality Awards — MICE Meeting Room Category. These accolades are great honors for S.M.X. Convention Center Clark as it has been gearing up for the upcoming M.I.C.E. Conference, which will happen from 10 to 12 July.
On the other hand, S.M.X. Convention Center Olongapo successfully garnered these awards: 1st Runner Up — Tourism Quality Awards — MICE Event Venue Category and 1st Runner Up — Mabuhay Award for Charlene Peralta in the Supervisory category. These honors are not just merely recognitions but also a celebration of the collective efforts made by each member of the S.M.X. Force that have transformed S.M.X. Convention Center Olongapo as an outstanding venue for hosting events in the region.
