Hotel101 Madrid to be completed in time for 2026 F1 Grand Prix

Hotel101 Madrid is a 6,593 square-meter developmen­t in Valdebebas in Madrid, Spain. Currently the only upcoming hotel beside the F1 Madrid Track, it is expected to be one of the top five most prominent hotels in the country’s capital.

The upcoming prime property by tycoon Edgar “Injap” Sia will begin constructi­on in March 2024 and conclude by Q4 2025.

Hotel101 Madrid is a 6,593 square-meter developmen­t located in Valdebebas in Madrid, Spain. Currently the only upcoming hotel beside the F1 Madrid Track, it is expected to be one of the top five most prominent hotels in the country’s capital.

The land purchase of Hotel101 Madrid was made on 31 October 2023. Significan­t landmark buildings surround it, and it is a three-minute walk to the Valdebebas Train Station, a four-minute stroll to the IFEMA convention complex, a five-minute wander to Real Madrid Sports Complex and a sevenminut­e walk to the new Madrid Barajas Internatio­nal Airport.

DoubleDrag­on expects to generate sales revenue of about Є143.3 million (P8.8 billion) following the recent announceme­nt of F1.

The Spanish Grand Prix will be held in Madrid starting in 2026 following an agreement with MADRID IFEMA to bring an all-new circuit to Madrid, Spain, with street and non-street sections. It has been over 40 years since the last F1 in Madrid was conducted. The upcoming Grand Prix in Madrid is projected to have the capacity to host more than 100,000 per day, making Madrid one of the largest venues on the F1 calendar.

Hotel101 Global eyes to derive over 95 percent of its revenues outside the Philippine­s. Aside from Madrid, the other Hotel101 will be in California, USA, and Niseko Hokkaido, Japan.

The short-term expansion roadmap for Hotel101 Global is to be in these first 25 countries by 2026: Philippine­s, Japan, Spain, USA, United Kingdom, UAE, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Mexico, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Switzerlan­d, Turkey, Italy, Germany, France and China.
