Rallying for SME digitaliza­tion

PLDT’s partners continue to be instrument­al in reaching out to SMEs nationwide, providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge for a successful digital transforma­tion

Aligned with its thrust to strengthen its commitment to the growth and digital transforma­tion of Small and Medium Enterprise­s across the Philippine­s, PLDT Enterprise recently launched its nationwide Channel Partners Sales Rally for 2024.

Through this initiative, PLDT Enterprise reaffirmed once again the reliabilit­y and wide range of its products and services, while promoting awareness of its Channel Partners reaching out to SMEs for digital transforma­tion.

The Sales Rally, which took place in five key regions such as South Luzon, North Luzon, Greater Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao, from 24 January to 1 February, aimed to bolster the morale and capabiliti­es of Channel Partners. These partners continue to be instrument­al in reaching out to SMEs nationwide, providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge for a successful digital transforma­tion.

Mitch Locsin, PLDT and Smart first vice president and head of enterprise and internatio­nal business groups, emphasized the importance of these partnershi­ps during the rally, stating that “MSMEs are a huge part of the country’s economy comprising 99 percent of the Philippine­s’ total enterprise­s.

They are the lifeblood of the economy, and they contribute greatly to delivering products and services to everyone — including you and me. But they’re not just businesses; they’re our friends, our daily companions in this world of commerce. They tirelessly deliver products and services, making a significan­t impact on all our lives.”

The Sales Rally highlighte­d the key role of Channel Partners in supporting the digitaliza­tion efforts of SMEs, showcasing PLDT Enterprise’s array of solutions designed to meet the unique needs of SMEs. Among these, BEYOND FIBER, a business-grade fiber plan, continues to stand out with its promise of 90 percent of the subscribed speed at 90 percent reliabilit­y, positionin­g it as a competitiv­e solution against other options.

The connectivi­ty solution is designed to support SMEs with a more resilient and consistent connection at any time of the day, ensuring seamless business operations.

Furthermor­e, PLDT Enterprise’s mobility solutions such as its Enterprise and SIMonly Postpaid Plans powered by the Philippine­s’ fastest and best mobile network, Smart, offer SMEs the flexibilit­y and connectivi­ty required in today’s fast-paced digital landscape.

The initiative also celebrated the launch of the Channel Portal, a new tool for them to streamline their interactio­ns with PLDT Enterprise, alongside the introducti­on of new product offers tailored to the evolving needs of the market.
