Sentinels makes shock move

-

Valorant fan-favorite squad Sentinels has made a surprising move ahead of Valorant Champions Tour Americas Kickoff which is slated to begin this Friday at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles. Composed of Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, Zachary “zekken” Patrone, Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, Mouhamed “johnqt” Ouarid and Bryan “pANcada” Luna, Sentinels has still yet to reveal its official roster for the upcoming tournament a week after the event. PANcada, during a livestream, revealed that he is actually not competing in the tournament and will be replaced by the team’s sixth-man Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro.

“Anxious for what? I’m not playing either way,” answered pANcada when asked during the stream if he is anxious about the upcoming tournament. According to some reports, his Twitch kickoff command was also set to “I got kicked and got off.” In a recent interview with Plat Chat, Sentinels chief executive officer Rob Moore had trouble getting a US Visa for VCT.

Meanwhile, ex-Sentinels player Hunter “SicK” Mims has been reportedly rushed to the hospital. Arrested in the past and dealing with mental health issues, SicK has been absent from social media until he posted “goodbye” which got fans concerned.

“Alright while I thought I was going to die I was rushed to the hospital and everything seems fine now,” SicK said in a tweet.

“Sorry for the scare but this just made me so much more grateful to be alive. I will be making my return to Valorant soon! Let this be a message: Don’t try to S (screenshot) you will regret it.”

According to SicK, he has been isolated for at least half a year with no human contact. According to Sentinels CEO Moore, his player is currently receiving muchneeded care and is being taken care of by the organization.

“We are continuing to work with Hunter’s family to support him. He is currently receiving care. Please continue to give Hunter all your support as well,” Moore said.
