Eco-agri mountain resort to rise in Tuba, Benguet
DMCI Homes eyes the launch of its second property under the subbrand DMCI Homes Leisure Residences by the second quarter of 2024. It hopes to replicate the success of Solmera Coast in San Juan, Batangas, the only tropical Asian-inspired beach park condotel in the municipality.
DMCI Homes is positioning Tuba, Benguet, as an emerging tourist destination with its latest leisure development in the southernmost part of the Cordillera Administrative Region that captures the authenticity of a mountain resort.
The eco-agri mountain resort condotel aims to establish a tourist resort in Benguet, which will also serve as an architectural starting point for the region’s development. Tuba is a first-class municipality accessible via Marcos Highway. DMCI wants to transform as a unique platform for business development and significant collaborations in agriculture, ecology, innovative entrepreneurship and tourism.
“Being conveniently located near Baguio City, Tuba is fast becoming a favorite among travelers for its equally cool weather and captivating mountain landscapes. The possibilities for eco-agri ventures are also promising,” Dennis Yap, DMCI Homes vice president for project development, said.
Yap said the property developer seeks to embrace the region’s natural beauty while integrating modern comforts seamlessly in the upcoming development. DMCI Homes plans to incorporate flower beds into the property to capture the ambiance of a mountain resort authentically.
