Acharming new collection of ballet flats, inspired by Bally’s history of crafting shoes for a variety of sports over its 172year legacy, is making style aficionados’ mouth water. The Swiss luxury brand in the 1940s, during World War II, supported the continuation of ballet study, ensuring the supply of shoes through their manufacture in Schöftland. The shoes were crafted with ribbons and reinforced toes to allow dancing en pointe and featured a specially created Bally ballerina logo.

Today, for the Ballyrina collection, Bally revisits its archives, and the ballet style is reimagined through a contemporary lens, offering a continuum of the brand’s heritage with a fresh attitude.

Among the three styles of Ballyrinas, the Byntia is offered in poolside pastel blue and timeless neutral glitter styles, making it a chic swap for heels. Further refined with leather piping, the quintessential Mary-Jane style has a buckle strap that is inspired by the crossed lines of ribbon on a traditional ballet shoe.

Practical, comfortable and versatile, the shoes’ rounded toes and sleek silhouettes make them perfect for on-the-go moments while offering a sophisticated way to dress up any ensemble.

The shoes are presented in a limitededition box, featuring the original 1940s Bally ballerina logo, reinterpreted in gold foil for the present day.

In the Philippines, Bally is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists Inc. and is located at Rustan’s Makati, Shangri-La Plaza, City of Dreams, Power Plant Mall and Newport Mall. Visit ssilife.com.ph or follow @ssilifeph on Instagram for more information.
