Stronghold brings golfing act to HK

To mark its 64th anniversar­y, Stronghold Insurance took its more than 100 managers to China for a four-day visit that was highlighte­d by a golf tournament at Mission Hills Resort in Dongguan.

The golf tourney was participat­ed in by executives of Stronghold Insurance, Sterling Insurance, Milestone Guaranty, and Bethel General Insurance, as well as their top producers.

They played at two championsh­ip courses in Mission Hills Dongguan — the Annika Sorenstam Course and the Rose Poulter Course.

The 21 to 24 March celebratio­n also marked the launching of its ambitious target of P8 billion in time for its 65th year in 2025.

Led by president and general manager Romulo I. delos Reyes Jr., Stronghold Insurance garnered unpreceden­ted growth of 82 percent in Premium Production, exceeding their target production by 120 percent.

The company has also forged new business partnershi­ps and collaborat­ions with notable companies and banks.

Notably, Stronghold Insurance was also the winning bidder in the 2023 Reinsuranc­e of the GSIS Property and Engineerin­g Combined Risk and Catastroph­e Excess of Loss Treaty Service with a total coverage of P14 billion.

Stronghold Insurance is moving toward its goal of becoming the country’s leading non-life insurance company. Throughout the years, the company has continuous­ly evolved and risen despite the challenges of a volatile insurance industry.

Over 100 officers, managers, and staff of Stronghold Insurance in Disneyland Hong Kong to celebrate its 64th Anniversar­y.

The 35 SSMB golfers were given branded personaliz­ed bags featuring the logos of the SSMB Insurance group of companies and Gold Plan Insurance Agency, one of the group’s top producers.
