- By ELLALYN B. DE VERA

Provinces in Luzon and Western Visayas facing the West Philippine Sea will continue to experience southwest monsoon or “habagat” rains this Wednesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

It said cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Zambales, Bataan, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan.

PAGASA warned residents in these areas to be on alert for possible flash floods and landslides.

Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and Western Visayas, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
