Jordan shares limelight

Mikey Jordan of Apex Racing Team shared the spotlight with Japanese teammate Takeharu Nakamori in the second leg of the 2017 Petron Blaze 100 X30 Challenge Philippines held recently at the Carmona Racetrack.

Nakamori scored another dominating victory in Race 1 to emerge the X30 Senior Blaze 100 champion, beating John Dizon of Edgesport Racing by 0.288 of a second.

Jordan settled for third but not after surprising everyone when he bested Nakamori and Dizon in Race 4 of the event promoted by Ceramic Pro Philippines, sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by Petron, Petron Blaze 100 Euro 5, Petron XCS, Petron Ultron, Petron Xtra, Petron Sprint, Magnolia Pure Water and Yokohama the official tyres.

As the lights turned green, Jordan made a quick maneuver from third to wrest the pole and started to pull away to capture his first victory of the season.
