Ask your friends, relatives and/or buddy/ies to go to MIAS with you. When attending an exposition, it is always more fun to have someone to share your insights with. This is to help you choose a good product and guide you as you discover more about the auto industry.

Do this if you will need special assistance. The organizers may assist the disabled and those who consider special diet requirement if there will be food served.

As much as possible, do not bring a vehicle to avoid the hassle of looking for a parking space. But if you really need one, use one vehicle for the gang. This will help you save time, gas and energy (and it’s less stressful) so you will spend more of the day to tour and enjoy.

Wear something comfortable but decent. Preferably rubber shoes for the long tour, a nice shirt and a dark pants or shorts. The organizers will not allow anyone wearing indecent clothing to enter the hall.

Make sure you bring enough cash with you so you can go straight to your target booths and purchase the product that you are eyeing for. This will save you time falling in line at the ATM counters at the event. However, be extra careful because the event will surely be jam-packed.

It is advised to use the toilet before going to the event. It is to avoid wasting your time in the long toilet queue when you can already tour around and enjoy. Also, bring with you a bunch of business cards that you may use for registration; a mini-snack and an extra shirt just in case you will need it.

Before entering the hall, take a look at the floor plan. Usually, the floor plan is located near the entrance or at the information booth. You may take a picture of it so you will be guided if you will be looking for a specific brand or booth.

Take care of yourself, your buddy and your personal belongings. With tons of people at the show, valuables and kids should always be monitored. The organizers are not liable for any losses caused by negligence.

Aside from the reason that the entrance area might be congested, starting from the farthest will also give you the chance to drop by at booths that are not commonly visited. There might be amazing finds and discounts in the bottom area that would surprise you. Try a zigzag pattern from the furthest right part and end up near the entrance area, by that time, people will just be on their way to the bottom.

Sign up in booths you visited to win prizes and rewards. It is also good to exchange business cards with exhibitors that interest you for easy communication. You may keep those for future use.

Follow the event schedule without compromising yours. Be sure of what booths to visit to make your visit quick, but efficient. If you are seriously eyeing for a brand, go there first. Know that some booths may only accommodate limited participants.

Car displays are extra sensitive so be extra careful. If you will be trying a ride on the display car, make sure to take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints. Avoid bringing heavy equipment such as a camera or spare parts that you just bought because it may damage the car unit and/or your property.

If there are models posing next to the display cars, you may ask to have a photo of them or request to have a selfie taken with them but treat them with utmost respect. Act professionally and say “thank you” after the photo is taken. However, if the organizers do not allow taking photos with or of the models, promptly keep your camera. Also, if you find an exhibitor quite irritating, you can say no by telling them that his unit is not what you are looking for right now.

Have adult supervision all the time. Since the venue occupies over 30,000sqm, kids can get lost easily. Bringing of strollers is not advisable as the heavy foot traffic might dampen your overall experience so it is still best to leave kids aged 1 year old below at home. Loud noise for heightened impact from the different exhibitors might not be advisable to infants.

Take a lot of photos and post them online. Use the official hashtag #MIAS2017 to show your friends how fun and exciting the event is.

Share with the organizers your experience. They always look forward to exciting comments from visitors to make the event even more exciting the next time.

More than just a visual experience, MIAS 2017 is at the forefront of educating and updating the public with the latest issues in the industry. See you there!
