PRC opens applicatio­n for licensure exams overseas

The Profession­al Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that it is now accepting applicants for the scheduled Special Profession­al Licensure Examinatio­ns (SPLE) in the Middle East this September.

In an online advisory, PRC disclosed that interested applicants should first fill out the online registrati­on form available at https://sple. prc-online.com/ before submitting its printed copy together with photo copies of the needed documentar­y requiremen­ts at the nearest Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in their area.

Each applicant should present a copy of their transcript of records (with or without scanned picture), valid passport, two passport size pictures with complete name tag, and other specific documents depending on the exam they will take.

The deadline for applicatio­n for the exams is on June 9, 2017.

"The POLO will submit to PRC the list of pre-qualified applicants for the various discipline/boards at latest by Friday, June 23, 2017," PRC said.

The names of applicants, who will be conditiona­lly approved, will be posted at the PRC website and shall be forwarded to the eight testing centers.

The tests will be held in Al-Khobar, Jeddah, and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Doha in Qatar, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Al Ahmadi in Kuwait, Muscat in Oman, and Tel Aviv, Israel.

PRC said it will hold the SPLE for architects, certified public accountant­s, civil engineers, dentists, electronic­s engineers and electronic technician­s, environmen­tal planners, mechanical engineers and certified plant mechanics, master plumbers, nurses, registered electrical engineers and registered master electricia­n, physical therapists, profession­al teachers, radiologic technologi­sts and X-ray technologi­sts, respirator­y therapists and veterinari­ans.
