REAPING THE BENEFITS OF INTERNATIONALIZATION
The Asian Association of School Human Resources Management & Development Practitioners, Inc. (AASHPI), the country’s premier human resource organization for schools, will hold its 18th National Convention on August 30 to September 1, 2017. The venue of this annual gathering of human resource practitioners, faculty members, school heads, school administrators and school owners will be at Marco Polo Hotel, Cebu City.
The 18th National Convention theme, “Internationalization through Global Standards for Competitiveness in the Academe” aims to widen the perspectives of the participants, impart strategies to address the threats and reap the benefits of internationalization.
Notable speakers such as Mr. Ramon Segismundo (President of People Management Association of the Philippines & Meralco Power Academy) will talk about Relationship Management: Fostering Positive Workplace Culture and Enhancing the Benefits of Diversity; Atty. Willie Santiago, CPA (Tax and Corporate Services Director of Diaz Murillo Dalupan Certified Public Accountants) will discuss Helping Employees Understand and Manage Taxes; Mr. Rex Wallen Tan (General Manager, Hopkins International Partners) will share HR’s Role in Developing ASEAN/ Globally Competitive Graduates: English as a Ticking Time Bomb; other plenary convention topics are: Internationalization through Global Standards for Competitiveness in the Academe; The Role of Higher Education in Developing Industrial Human Resources under Public-Private Academia (PPA) Partnership: ASEAN Best Practices; Engaging the Workforce of the Future: The Emergence of Generation Z; and 21st Century Skills: The Role of the Academe in Preparing Workers of Tomorrow.
