GREEN TECHNOLOGY, ONLINE BUSINESS PORTALS AT TAIWAN EXPO 2017
Green Trade Project Office (GTPO), the international trade promotion arm of the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, will organize the Green Technology Pavilion at the upcoming Taiwan Expo 2017. The event will take place from September 29th to October 1st at SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex. The event will bring together renowned Taiwanese companies which will be introducing their latest products for the first time here in the Philippines. Taiwantrade.com, Taiwan’s largest B2B portal, is set to join several other online platforms at the upcoming Taiwan Expo. Taiwantrade. com offers a great number of services for businesses around the world to connect with its 72,000 registered Taiwanese suppliers. For starters, the website contains a huge selection of catalogs that the user can search through. The catalogs cover more than 620,000 products offered by the website’s supplier members.
Joining them at the show are iDealEZ.com, the affiliate marketplace of Taiwantrade.com which allows the users to place a sample order directly to the supplier; and PChome Online, one of Taiwan’s largest e-commerce operators.
TECO will display its five-seater electric tricycle specifically designed for the local market. Sino-American Silicon Products, Inc. (SAS), on the other hand, will showcase its 50-megawatt solar power plant in Palo.
Another featured company called Sun Rise E&T Corporation will show its Solar Floating System, which can be installed in fish farms, bringing the farmers both value of fishery harvesting and electricity production while the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), will display its Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems for the first time at the show.
Taiwan Expo 2017 will also demonstrate Taiwan’s ability to provide total solution through system integration of renewable energy technologies, energy storage, energy-saving management systems, transmission and distribution through power supply. By applying these technologies, the country and its various islands will be able to gain solutions and achieve self-sufficiency and sustainability in the years to come.
