CAMP LIM, Laguna/ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal — In a sweeping order from the Police Regional Office 4-A (PRO4-A), six entire police stations have been ordered to swap assignments in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon).

Chief Superintendent Ma. O Aplasca, regional director (RD) of the PRO4-A, said in his order issued last weekend that the swapping of personnel in the six City Police Stations must be completed by today.

Aplasca ordered a swap of personnel between the Dasmariñas CPS in Cavite and the Antipolo City CPS in Rizal, the San Pablo CPS in Laguna and the Batangas CPS in Batangas; and the Biñan CPS in Laguna and the Lucena CPS in Quezon.

Records said that Dasmariñas City Cooperation Agency (JICA), Flores said the infrastructure project would prevent massive flooding in the two adjacent municipalities of Dinalupihan and Hermosa, which suffers perennial flooding due to inadequate river outlets.

When strong rains occur, he explained that houses, farmlands, public works utilities and other sources of livelihood of the residents of Hermosa and Dinalupihan towns are destroyed by rampaging rainwaters coming from the mountain ranges of Zambales, Bataan, and Pampanga. has five police commissioned officers (PCOs) and 205 police non-commissioned officers (PNCOs) while Antipolo City also has five PCOs and 207 PNCOs; San Pablo City has five PCOs and 84 PNCOs while Batangas City has five PCO and 159 PNCOs; and Biñan City also has five PCOs and 113 PNCOs while Lucena City has five PCOs and 115 PNCOs.

Aplasca said the objective of the reassignment of personnel is to boost the efficiency of police stations to carry out their functions and duties. He said it was not a disciplinary action, but a strategic movement.

“Movement of our personnel is again part of the continuing Internal Cleansing Program of the Philippine National Police, however, let me assure the people in these areas that the operations in the six police stations would continue smoothly despite the reshuffle,” Aplasca added.
