Drug rehab grad gunned down

Adrug rehabilitation program graduate was shot dead by an unidentified gunman in Tondo, Manila Friday night.

Police Officer 3 Dennis N. Tu r l a i d e n t i f i e d t h e v i c t i m a s Mark Angelo Aribe, 24, a computer technician.

Investigation showed that the incident occurred while Aribe was watching a group of gamers in a computer shop on Quirino Street, Barangay 107, in Tondo district.

At 11:45 p.m., the armed suspect appeared and repeatedly shot Aribe.

He died on the spot due to gunshot wounds in the body, said Turla.

Seven spent shells from a .9mm caliber gun were recovered from the crime scene.

Aribe’s 17-year-old sister told investigators that her brother had just finished his drug rehabilitation program in Pasig City last April.

Further investigation is underway.
