SOUTHVILLE ALUMNA WINS DISTINGUISHED PAPER AWARD IN SOUTH KOREA
Among over 120 papers from USA, Germany, Poland, China, South Korea and India, the research paper of Ainrand Jacinto Uy, alumna of Southville International School and CollegesCollege of Psychology won the Distinguished Paper Award at the 2017 International Symposium on Education and Psychology last September 5-7, 2017 at Seoul, South Korea.
Miss Uy’s paper entitled Body Image and Eating Behavior Patterns in Relation to Social Functioning of Obese Enrollees in Selected Fitness Centers examines the cultural and lifestyle behaviors of obese Filipino individuals. The paper analyzed how Filipino Psychology is underrated that people don’t usually talk about nor notice that their lifestyle puts them in the Obese category.
