With the rising developments and infrastructure in cities, spacious living becomes rare for homeowners that are looking for the benefits of a healthy lifestyle with a lot of interactions with nature and outdoor activities.

But at the heart of Mandaluyong Central Business District (CBD), along the economic beltway that is EDSA, Greenfield District, a 15-hectare master-planned district, is positioned to redefine the Mandaluyong cityscape with its balance of nature-rich, open spaces with the conveniences of a modern urban lifestyle.

The township developed by Greenfield Development Corporation (GDC) boasts of a wide expanse of green spaces and various venues for both outdoor and indoor recreation. A big part of the mini-city is earmarked for open spaces, verdant areas, and pocket parks.

The entire site is pedestrianfriendly, with interconnected, aboveground walkways and secondary interconnected below-ground road network for vehicles.

One of its landmark features, the Central Park, is ideal for morning walks, jogging, afternoon picnics or a game of frisbee, among other activities. The surrounding restaurants, both artisanal and familiar, make meet-ups with friends and dining experiences convenient, with a lot of options to choose from.

Looking forward to the weekend and relaxing after work can be more exciting with the events at the Central Park that include live music performances and food fairs. The festivities are usually held on the evenings of Thursdays and Fridays, until the Saturday and Sunday wholeday weekend markets.

Thrill-seekers who crave for new experiences can visit the Trampoline Park located at The Portal commercial center. It is the only place in the CBD that presents a gravity-defying, jump-hop-bounce workout. Also at The Portal is the Climb Central which offers a challenging indoor rock climbing adventure.

Aside from The Portal, The Hub and The Pavilion add to the lifestyle choices that balance work and leisure for discerning urban dwellers and professionals working in the area.

The Hub is a 2,000-sqm dining strip that targets foodies with its nonmainstream gastronomic finds such as Blackwood Bar & Grill, Brown’s Gourmet and Ramen Bar to name just a few.

The Pavilion, meanwhile, is a haven for shoppers. Used to be known as EDSA Central, the mall now features old and new food outlets, stores, and kiosks that sell clothes, beauty accessories, shoes, and other items. The retail shops are evenly spaced-out to avoid shoulder-to-shoulder shopping.

Aside from the lifestyle perks, the District is also expanding its business component. Greenfield Tower, its first business process outsourcing office, recently marked its topping off milestone along Mayflower Street.

Residents of the development benefit from the al fresco lifestyle at Greenfield District, as everyday necessities are within easy reach. Zitan and Twin Oaks Place are some of the residential condominiums that boast of technologically-advanced infrastructures, premium living spaces, and sophisticated amenities.

Like all other infrastructure within the District, both are embedded with fiber optic cables that enable high-speed internet connectivity.

Zitan is dubbed as a transitoriented development with a direct access to the mid-point MRT Shaw Boulevard station. Twin Oaks Place, meanwhile, is known for its “futureready” homes that allow homeowners to monitor, adjust security settings, control the temperature, lighting, and other appliances inside their units using a smartphone or tablet.

Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City is one of GDC’s master-planned developments that is built upon the vision of promoting a healthy and nature-rich lifestyle, social interactions, and a lot of peaceful and quiet moments.
