Royal Caribbean Cruises job fair in Pangasinan on October 13-14

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan (PNA) — Representa­tives of the world’s second largest cruise ship operator, the Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., will be in Pangasinan October 13-14 to recruit workers.

The two-day recruitmen­t drive will be undertaken by RCCL Crew Management Inc. at the Provincial Employment Services Office (PESO) located at the Capitol Complex in Lingayen.

PESO chief Alex F. Ferrer said re- cruitment of cruise ship workers will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on October 13 and from 9 a.m. to 12 noon the next day.

Executives of RCCL were in Pangasinan two days ago to arrange the recruitmen­t activity with Governor Amado Espino III and PESO.

Ferrer said the company is looking for bakers, butchers, Chef De PartieBake­r, Chef De Partie-Butcher, Chef De Partie-Garde Manger, Chef De PartieSuch­ie, Commis 1, Head Baker, Pastry Sous Chef, Sushi Cook, Pantry Chef, Pantry Cook and Pastry Cook.

It also needs a lifeguard and a laundry attendant for housekeepi­ng, hotel storekeepe­r, provision storekeepe­r and technical storekeepe­r.

Likewise in demand are 3rd assistant repairman, artistic painter, assistant electricia­n, assistant refrigerat­or engineer, filter repairman, filter turner, incinerato­r operator, mechanic, motorman, plumber, repairman, upholster, varnisher and wiper.

Ferrer said applicants without a passport may also apply.
