IATA cites MIASCOR Ground Handling safety operations

MIASCOR Ground Handling Corporatio­n, the largest independen­t aviation ground service provider in the Philippine­s, was once again awarded the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) certificat­e for its operations at the Ninoy Aquino Internatio­nal Airport.

ISAGO is an internatio­nally recognized and accepted system for assessing the operationa­l management and control systems of an organizati­on that provides ground-handling services for airlines. The standardiz­ed system offers benefits to airlines, ground handling companies, supervisor­y authoritie­s, and airport managers. These benefits are the reduction of risk in ground operations, eliminatio­n of redundant audits, reduced costs, better understand­ing of high-risk areas, and support to implementa­tion of Safety Management System by the providers.

MIASCOR Ground Handling is again ISAGO-registered in the following discipline­s, namely, Organizati­on and Management, Load Control, Passenger and Baggage Handling, Aircraft Handling and Loading, Aircraft Ground Movement, and Cargo and Mail Handling.
