It was a glorious Sunday—a perfect day to rest. But the family and friends of Dr. Kaycee Reyes, dermatologist and Manila Bulletin Lifestyle columnist for Wellbeing, and Architect Juan Niccolo “Nico” Bacani wouldn’t let the day pass without celebrating the coming of baby Pio.
Kaycee and Nico prayed for Pio—the desire of their heart was a baby boy—and so the couple asked the help and intercession of St.
Pio. After all the ups and downs of pregnancy, the couple who got married in February 2016 is ready to make their family grow.
During the baby shower, family, relatives, and friends were all smiles. Sponsored by Aprica in partnership with Manila Bulletin
Lifestyle, the afternoon was filled with stories, games, and laughter, accompanied by the delicious spread of food and wine served by F1 Hotel.
“I just invited the people who are near to my heart. I was advised by my OB to stay at home and to have bed rest because I have a dilated cervix, but I wouldn’t miss this for the world,” says Kaycee. “I already did my bed rest for several days in the last few days and the next week, but right now, I want to enjoy this day and have fun with the people I love. Your presence is very important to me during this moment, even more important than the gifts. It was never in my plan to have a baby shower but today was perfect and I’m so happy. It would not have been like this without everyone here.” #KayceeLovesAprica
