POEA: 200 job vacancies in Taiwan

Two hundred certified job openings in Taiwan are now up for grabs for aspiring overseas Filipino workers (OFW), the Philippine Overseas Employment Administra­tion (POEA) announced yesterday.

In an advisory, POEA made its last call for qualified applicants for the available vacancies in one of the biggest Taiwanese food firm, I-Mei Foods Co. Ltd. under its Special Hiring Program for Taiwan.

It said it will only continue to accept applicatio­n for the said job offers only until Nov. 10, 2017.

I-Mei Foods Co. Ltd. is currently in need of 150 factory workers, 10 food analysis inspectors, 7 bakers, 3 staff canteen cooks, 5 programmab­le logic controller (PCL) operators, 10 general technician­s, 5 masons, 5 refrigerat­ion and air-conditioni­ng technician­s and 5 refrigerat­ion and factory compound cleaners.

“Applicants must be at least high school or vocational graduate, physically and mentally fit to work, no color blindness, no tattoos, and with good communicat­ion in oral and written English,” POEA said.

POEA said interested applicants must first register at www.eregister.poea.gov.ph before they could submit the required documents at the POEA office in Manila or Davao City.
