Pump prices up anew this morning
Motorists will experience an uptick in the prices of fuel this week as companies make adjustments in line with the movement of the international petroleum market. In separate advisories, independent oil players Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Inc., PTT Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines said they will all adjust the price of their petroleum products effective 6:00 o’clock this morning. These firms will particularly increase the price of their diesel prices by R0.60 per liter and gasoline by R0.95 per liter. Seaoil said it will also apply the same adjustments, adding that the price of its kerosene will likewise inched up by R0.95 per liter. Big players like Petron, Shell, and Caltex are expected to make the same adjustments Last week, oil prices spiked as geopolitical tensions between two major oil producers Saudi Arabia and Iran increased.
