CAFGU killing remains unsolved

GENERAL SANTOS CITY- Authoritie­s are still facing a blank wall on the killing of a member of Civilian Armed Forces Geographic­al Unit (CAFGU) in Tupi, South Cotabato. Senior Supt. Franklin Alvero, South Cotabato police director, said police investigat­ors are still investigat­ing the responsibl­e group and possible motive in the killing Cipriano Innocencio, 56 who gunned was down by one of the two unidentifi­ed suspects riding in tandem on a motorcycle in Barangay Palian, Tupi town. Witnesses said the victim was walking home from a nearby store when an unidentifi­ed gunman approached the victim and shot him several times. The suspect fled on board a motorcycle driven by his unidentifi­ed cohort. (Joseph Jubelag)
