CAFGU killing re­mains un­solved

GEN­ERAL SAN­TOS CITY- Au­thor­i­ties are still fac­ing a blank wall on the killing of a mem­ber of Civil­ian Armed Forces Ge­o­graph­i­cal Unit (CAFGU) in Tupi, South Cota­bato. Se­nior Supt. Franklin Alvero, South Cota­bato po­lice di­rec­tor, said po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tors are still in­ves­ti­gat­ing the re­spon­si­ble group and pos­si­ble mo­tive in the killing Cipri­ano In­no­cen­cio, 56 who gunned was down by one of the two uniden­ti­fied sus­pects rid­ing in tan­dem on a mo­tor­cy­cle in Barangay Palian, Tupi town. Wit­nesses said the vic­tim was walk­ing home from a nearby store when an uniden­ti­fied gun­man ap­proached the vic­tim and shot him sev­eral times. The sus­pect fled on board a mo­tor­cy­cle driven by his uniden­ti­fied co­hort. (Joseph Jube­lag)
