‘NASAAN SI HESUS?’ RESTAGES AT CCP LITTLE THEATER

The acclaimed religious musical, “Nasaan Si Hesus?” will be staged again in Metro Manila starting on November 19, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. with a special invitation­al performanc­e at the Little Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippine­s.

“Nasaan Si Hesus?” is composed and produced by Lourdes “Bing” Pimentel, wife of former senator Nene Pimentel and mother of Senate President Koko Pimentel. It is written and directed by Nestor U. Torre, who has collaborat­ed with Mrs. Pimentel on other acclaimed musical like “Cory,” “Huwag Pumayag sa Dagdag Bawas,” “Pag-ibig sa Bayan,” and “Buhay Isang Awit.”

“Nasaan si Hesus?” is being restaged due to the continuing relevance of its script and songs, which dramatize the real pressing problems that Christians face in today’s complicate­d world. Groups, Schools, and Parishes interested in sponsoring a performanc­e of “Nasaan si Hesus?” in their locality are invited to call Bing Pimentel at 0977-817-7934.

The 2017 restaging of “Nasaan si Hesus?” topbills Bimbo Cerrudo, Russel Magno, Joannah Basanta, Zara Pagay, Paul Pareja, Honee Gipulle, Liza Schneider, Rain Gibbs, Crystel Campos, Rhoger Clarveria, Maricel Reyes, Faith Cabebe, Hirohito Ruiz, Jastine Molod, RR Efren, Rj Prado, Mabie Flores, Alijon Ubalde, and Albert S. Jimenez. Lights are by Marin Esteva.

Proceeds of the play will benefit the Community Chest Foundation, Inc. which supports 18 social services agencies, the “Batang Transforme­rs” project of the Pimentel Institute for Leadership and Governance which helps Muslim, Lumad and Christian youth leaders, the PasaLord Prayer Movement, and projects of the Women’s Rights Movement of the Philippine­s.
