-

Games Today (PATTS Gym) 10 a.m. – NCBA vs. PLMun 12 n.n. – UMak vs. EAC 2 p.m. – PATTS vs. DLSU-D

Two newcomers debuted with a bang on opening day of the Sta. Lucia-Land NCRAA men’s basketball Tuesday. Now Pamantasan Ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, another neophyte, looks to follow in their footsteps.

Pamantasan today takes on National College of Business Administration at 10 a.m. when the league goes to PATTS Gym for a scheduled triple-header. In the other Group B match, University of Makati and Emilio Aguinaldo square off at 12 noon.

At 2 p.m., the home-court advantage belongs to PATTS College of Aeronautics when it hosts De La Salle-Dasmariñas.

Led by team captain Joshua Diaz, the PATTS Seahorses seek to improve on their third place finish last season in the tournament which then merged NCRAA and UCLAA.

The partnership enabled NCRAA, now on its own, to form a total of 16 teams this year in time for the silver anniversary.

Diaz along with fellow veterans Jayson Orada and Jestoni Loyola and rookie Norman Torreno are expected to play big roles for the Seahorses.

All teams hope to join opening day winner AMA University at the top of the standings. The Titans crushed Philippine Merchant Marine School, 93-61, behind the 15 points and 20 rebounds of Andre Paras, son of PBA legend Benjie Paras. College-Cavite
