27TH SOIRÉE BEAUJOLAIS BRINGS GUESTS TO CANNES IN 2017

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCI France Philippines) organized last November 24 the 27th edition of Soirée Beaujolais at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. The event celebrated the arrival of this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau wine, which is celebrated worldwide after the third Thursday of November. Over 1,200 guests from the Franco-Filipino community were in attendance. This year’s edition was special since it also was a celebration of the 70th anniversary of the French-Philippine relations as well as the 70th anniversary of Cannes Film Festival.

CCI France Philippines team and Board as well as some of their sponsors (Air France, BDO Unibank Inc., Jones Lang LaSalle, Le Cellier Quality Store Corp., Philippines Retirement Authority, RATP Development Manila, Total Philippines) performed a flash mob dance together with the Matahari dancers. This was followed by a speech by CCI France Philippines’ Managing Director, Vanessa Hans, and CCI France Philippines’ President, Isabelle Nilo who reminded the attendees that Soirée Beaujolais was organized for the benefit of beneficiaries of France-Philippines United Action (FPUA), the Foundation of CCI France Philippines.
