Cebu City business permit renewal deadline set

CEBU CITY — The Cebu City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) is reminding some 30,000 business owners here to renew their business permits on or before January 26, 2018 to avoid penalties and surcharges, acting City Treasurer Veronica Morelos said.

Morelos said the issuance and renewal of business permits will only be done at the Robinsons Galleria here from January 3 to the 26, 2018.

“But those who wanted to renew or apply for mayor’s business permit after the said scheduled date at Robinsons Galleria are advised to transact only at the City Treasurer’s Office in Cebu City Hall,” she said.

“The processing of the Mayor’s Business Permit [at the Robinsons Galleria] will start at 9 a.m.until 6 p.m. from Monday to Saturday except on January 20 which is the eve of the 453rd Fiesta Señor celebration,” Morelos continued.

Aside from the renewal of business permits, other services that will be held at the venue on the said dates are application for new mayor’s business permit, retirement of business operations, application for special and delivery permits, as well as the issuance of cedulas for business permit purposes only.

Clients will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis, Morelos added.

Cedula issuance for other purposes, however, will be attended to at City Hall.
