sa college e, or sa ibang liga,” said Lee, who opted to skip his final UAAP season for University of the East in 2011, the same year Ravena made his collegiate debut for Ateneo.

Lee said he likens his showdown with Ravena to his pro debut in Oct. 2011 against his idol Mark Caguioa of Barangay Ginebra.

In his first ever PBA game, Lee quickly showcased the things he can do as he outplayed Caguioa with 21 points, five rebounds and eight assists in a thrilling 94-93 victory for Rain or Shine.

This time, Lee will be the seasoned veteran facing against a promising rookie, both described for their similarities of making teammates involve, playmaking abilities and a knack of taking over the game.

“Kailangan ko paghandaan. Noong time ko as a rookie, baka pinaghandaan din ako ni Mark,” said Lee.

“Hindi naman tayo basta-basta papatalo and kailangang gawin ko pa din iyung trabaho ko sa team. At the end of the day, kailangan namin makuha iyung panalo,” Lee added.

Lee couldn’t help but be flattered with comparison made by Guiao, who aside from being his former coach at Rain or Shine also acts as his Godfather.

“Si coach Yeng, alam niya iyung nakikita niya. Sa ilang years namin magkasama, alam niya kung ano iyung mga ginagawa ko dati. I’m very happy na nakakuha si coach Yeng ng pieces for his team.”
