DUTY-FREE PHILIPPINES SUPPORTS GO LOKAL!
Duty-Free Philippines (DFP) has shown us ways to love our own identity and culture particularly in supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and launching the 31st ‘Go Lokal!’ outlet of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) last December 22, 2017 at the DFP Fiesta Mall, Parañaque.
The main objective of ‘Go Lokal!’ is to showcase high quality crafts and products of MSMEs. It also gives an opportunity for the country’s MSMEs to “go mainstream and test the marketability of local products without incurring the high costs of operating a retail outlet.”
Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Wanda Corazon Teo led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newest “Go Lokal!” outlet. She commended Duty-Free and DTI’s campaign for promoting culture and for assuring that consumers will have an easy access to the wide array of local goods.
Also present during the launch were the executives of Duty-Free Philippines and DTI undersecretaries led by Rowel S. Barba. According to Undersecretary Barba, they are targeting to put up Duty-Free Zamboanga next year.
You can visit more stores at prime locations at SM Kultura, Robinsons Place Manila, Enchanted Kingdom, Glorietta 2, City Mall, Rustan’s Makati and at the DTI head office.
