WILCON WINS BEST IPO AWARD

Wilcon Depot, the country’s leading home improvement and construction supply retailer, took home the Best IPO award for the Philippines at The Asset Triple A Country Awards 2017 held at the Harbour View Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong last January 17, 2018.

Present in the awarding ceremony is Wilcon Founder and Chairman Emeritus himself Mr. William T. Belo, together with Wilcon President and Chief Executive Officer Lorraine BeloCincochan, Wilcon EVP-Chief Financial Officer Mark Andrew Belo, EVP-Chief Product Officer Careen Y. Belo and Wilcon Investor Relations Officer Mary Jean Alger.

Wilcon Depot, which just debuted at the Philippine stock market last March 2017, has already posted an impressive growth in its share price a few months since its listing. This led to The Asset in choosing the company to be this year’s recipient of the Best IPO award for the Philippines.
