RCBC SAVINGS COMMENDS HONEST SECURITY GUARD

Another bank security guard received commendation for retrieving an envelope containing cash worth over 1200,000.

“We are very fortunate to have a team of honest and hardworking security guards like Dayot, who not only just looks after the bank, but our client’s welfare as well with integrity,” RCBC Savings Bank President and CEO Rommel Latinazo said.

Roldan Dayot, 27, spotted the envelope by the transaction slips rack, minutes after the client accidently left it. A strong gut feel told him it contained cash. As a standard protocol, he immediately informed the branch officials, who facilitated the cash count. Shortly after the incident, the owner went back to the branch to inquire about the envelope. CCTV footages confirmed the identity and ownership of the client over the said envelope. The retrieved item was returned to the client the same day.

Dayot is due to receive another commendation from the Bank Security Management Association and the PNP.
