3 teenaged rape suspects arrested in Bulacan

MEYCAUAYAN CITY, Bulacan Three teenagers, two of them minors, were arrested by the police followuing the alleged gang rape of a Grade 7 female student in Barangay Bayugo here last Monday.

Supt. Kim Cobre, Meycauayan police chief, identified one of the three arrested suspects as Jeriemeh Padora Brusola, 18, of Barangay Bayugo.

He was arrested together with the other 16 year-old suspects.

Cobre saod that based on investigat­ion, the 13-year-old victim was invited by a friend to visit another friend Sunday night and took part in a drinking binge.

The victim got intoxicate­d and felt nauseous after consuming two glasses of an alcoholic beverage.

She waas then sexually exploited and abused by the suspects despite her pleas and refusal.

Following the incident, the victim narrated her ordeal to her father who immediatel­y sought assistance from barangay officials and the police.

Meantime last Sunday, another rape suspect was arrested by the police also in the said barangay.

The arrested suspect was identified as Renato Payang Matias, 32.

Cobre said that Matias was arrested after his 9-year-old daughter filed a formal complaint.

Based on the victim’s account, her father sexually abused her for three consecutiv­e nights from February 15 to 17.

The victim reported the incident to her grandmothe­r who relayed the informatio­n to authoritie­s.
