Misuari joins anti-drugs...

-

Addressing his followers at the 50th anniversary celebration of the MNLF at the Davao Crocodile Park on Sunday, Misuari said: “We will support the government policy to get rid of all drugs. We will hang all those who are violating this, hang them in public if they are caught doing the violation flagrantly.”

Misuari went into hiding for three years following the Zamboanga siege in 2013, where his followers battled military forces, and he faced charges of rebellion and crimes against humanity. He was granted temporary liberty to be able to participate in the peace talks.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron Aquino had said in a media interview on February 19 that most of the barangays with non-functioning Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils are in the ARMM.He said officials of barangays with inactive BADACs are most likely involved in drugs.

Misuari added they are about to march on another path to protect their homeland from some "miscreant" countries who are trying to demonize the Moro people by bringing in the kidnap victims to create misimpression about the Moro people.

He also warned of destroying the “foreign infiltrators” who are trying to disunite the Moro people and urged them to work on cleansing their homeland to contribute to efforts in making the country peaceful.
