Search on for outstanding C. Luzon cops

- By MAR T. SUPNAD

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga-The first ‘PRO3 Men of Excellence’ search for outstanding police officers in the region, which will reward each of the two winners with a residential lotworth P1.5 million, was formally launched recently at the Imerex Hotel, Angeles City.

Conceptualized by the PRO3-Command Group under Central Luzon police director Amador Corpus, in partnership with St. Catherine Realty Corporation headed by Mr Edwin Dizon, the search will highlight and pay tribute to the exemplary performance of deserving Central Luzon police officers who epitomize the Philippine National Police’s four core values - Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa.

The search is open to all police commissioned and non-commissioned officers with the rank of PO2 to Superintendent assigned in Central Luzon who will be nominated by their respective police units.

Two winners will be awarded with a residential lot each worth R1.5million each from St Catherine Realty Corporation.

“This search is very timely lalo na ngayon na kabi-kabila ang mga alegasyon ng katiwalian na ikinakabit sa ating kapulisan, nararapat lamang na kilalanin ang mga katangi-tangi at magigiting nating mga pulis na buong katapatang nagsisilbi upang mapangalagaan ang kaayusan sa ating mga komunidad (The search is timely because police officers have been linked to irregularities here and there. It is time that we recognize our admirable, heroic police officers who gallantly work to ensure the safety of our communities),” Corpus said.

“And here in Police Regional Office 3, we have a lot of PNP personnel who continuously serve our communities with dedication and faithfulness to our profession,” added Corpus.
