The Department of Education (DepEd) has released the Senior High School (SHS) Voucher Program application results for learners who are outside the formal school system.
DepEd announced that Alternative Learning System (ALS) Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) test and the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) passers who applied to avail of the SHS Voucher Program may now check the results of their application at ovap.deped.gov.ph.
The applicants were directed to use the “Manual Results” function to check their status.
“If your application is approved, you may immediately download your Qualified Voucher Applicant (QVA) Certificate,” DepEd said.
Meanwhile, the Department reminded that “the results are final and not subject to appeal.”
This school year (SY) SY 2018-2019 marks the first year implementation of SHS VP application for ALS equivalency passers.
The SHS VP is a program of financial assistance program to enable qualified Grade 10 completers to pursue their desired SHS education in private schools, state universities and colleges, and local universities and colleges that offer SHS.
It is one of the several initiatives of the government to make basic education accessible and affordable for Filipino learners nationwide.
