Local shares finish flat

The local stock market closed flat yesterday after trading in the red most of the day even though all of its regional peers advanced. The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) closed at 7,186.62, down just 0.09 points as sectoral indices were evenly mixed with the Financials, Holding Firms, and Property counters in the green. A total of 606.5 million shares valued at R3.38 billion changed hands. (JAL)
