Ilonggo Nightlife

- By GERRY TREÑAS

I t’s almost unavoidable to go on a food trip when you visit Iloilo City. There’s just so much to try out—the super famous batchoy, in all its versions; Pancit Molo; seafood from Breakthrough Restaurant; pastries and biscuits like biscocho, galletas, and barquillos; and many other dishes that might not be as associated with Iloilo as these but are nonetheless superb examples of Ilonggo cuisine.

And the perfect way to end a day spent on a culinary smorgasbord? A chill-out session at one of the bars and pubs that light up Iloilo nightlife. To help you figure out which places to try out, here are some of our recommendations.
