Prado said Ormillo then refused to give her a ride and unloaded her baggage. However, the taxi driver took off with her black bag containing five pairs of earrings, one gold necklace worth

Intelligence and Investigation Division of MIAA led by Airport Police Inspectors Roderick Mejia and Victor Mallari then tracked down the driver.

During the arrest, the suspect initially denied taking the Prado’s bag but he later revealed that he pawned the valuables, police said.

A robbery complaint will be filed against Ormillo before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office, MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal said.

Further, the revocation of Ormillo’s license was filed at the Land Transportation Office.
