Bringing the European shopping experience

- Acienda Designer Outlet features a French-style windmill as focal point. European feel Sleek lines and soft lighting fixtures make this section feel like a stylish French commune. Shopping haven

More than just shopping for the best deals under one roof, visiting the soon-to-open Acienda Designer Outlet (ADO) Mall in Silang, Cavite, is expected to feel like an instant trip to Europe.

The 20-hectare shopping mecca is inspired by the most picturesque destinations abroad, and just strolling around the country’s first-ever, fully-integrated outlet mall is in itself, an experience that local tourists and shoppers should savor. Cathay Land Inc., the developer of ADO, promises a memorable time for visitors.

Every area of the shopping center, located an hour’s drive from Manila and a few minutes from tourist haven Tagaytay City, is a spectacle. Imagine walking the grand staircase of ADO’s Italian section, where an open area welcomes guests like the Spanish Steps of the Eternal City of Rome.

The steps were inspired by the steep slope connecting Rome’s Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, with the the Trinità dei Monti church at the top. It’s an open air area that instantly gives an elegant feel of what this outlet mall can offer.

Then there’s the charming architecture of the whole mall, a romantic facade that reminds Europe regulars of the delightful structures in Lombard, France, with its sleek lines and soft lighting fixtures.

Acienda Designer Outlet mall has four architectural themes – French, Spanish, Italian and New England to create the feeling of being in a charming European countryside. At the center of the lifestyle strip is a French-style food and beverage area accentuated with a statuesque windmill as the central attraction.

This windmill represents the larger-than-life experience of being at ADO – where people don’t just go there for the shopping, but for the beautiful structure which can serve as backdrop specially for Filipinos who love posting something unique on social media. The windmill can be admired upto the second floor of the mall.

With all of these design elements in place, Jayden Lewis, Freeport Retail’s head of leasing for Asia, promised that they are absolutely sure that “we will provide a beautiful retail environment” to shoppers all year-round.”

More than the tourist attraction, ADO will be the benchmark of the best discount shopping experience. There will be year-round discounts from 30 to 70 percent so expect to stay there the whole day to savor what the place has to offer.

ADO is a P2.5-billion shopping hub that’s dedicated to bringing a year-round sale of designer finds in fashion, sports, and homewares. Expect the best deals from designer brands from all over the world to liven up the retail scene in the store’s themed sections.

This new outlet mall will be a breeze to visit, specially once the Cavite-Laguna Expressway is completed (average travel time will only be 30 minutes from the outskirts of Manila). Parking is absolutely free for 2,000 slots – so bringing home your designer finds will be easy.

Cathay Land has partnered with lifestyle brand Freeport Retail from London to open Silang and Tagaytay’s new shopping hub. Freeport Retail has an array of shopping outlets under its name, with centers operating in the UK, Sweden, Czech Republic, and Portugal. And over here in Southeast Asia, they are present in Malaysia, Thailand and soon, The Philippines.
