-

Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas (LPU BATANGAS) will soon enable high school and college students with a more convenient and safer lifestyle as the institution, in partnership with PayMaya Philippines, introduces the most advanced school ID in South Luzon.

In the coming weeks, each LPU Batangas high school and college student will have their very own PayMayapowered Super ID that serves as a tool for attendance monitoring and as a prepaid card that can be used for cashless transactions inside the school premises.

“We’re proud to be the first to implement the most advanced school ID system in South Luzon, ” Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas Senior Vice President Erick Badillo said.

“This is a significant step towards embracing the digital economy, which will lead students to a better lifestyle and learning experience,” PayMaya COO and Managing Director Paolo Azzola added.

This innovative partnership also gives the LPU Batangas students a chance to maximize the benefits of the digital economy including access to convenient transportation, progressive education, hassle-free shopping and many more.

The LPU Batangas school ID, powered by PayMaya, will act as a tool for tracking student attendance.

With the help of its built-in RFID feature, parents can easily confirm if their child is safe as they receive SMS notification when their child taps their school ID upon entering and exiting the campus.

Students need not bring excess cash as they can utilize their school IDs to pay for items in the bookstore or meals in the cafeteria.

Since it functions as a payment card, students can also use their PayMaya-powered school ID for cashless payments anytime, anywhere - even outside the campus.

Students can also withdraw money from their account using their school ID via Bancnet ATMs nationwide.

With PayMaya, they can also instantly receive funds from their parents, making it more convenient in case of sudden expenses at school.

Aside from all these features and benefits, students can link their school ID to their PayMaya account and enjoy the app’s featured services including QR transaction, load purchase, bills payment and send money.

They can also use their PayMaya account for digital transactions including online shopping purchases, lifestyle subscription services, accommodation bookings, and many more.

It only takes a few minutes to create a PayMaya account. Just download the app on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and sign up for an account using any Philippine mobile number.

Adding money to your account can also be done through more than 20,000 Add Money touchpoints nationwide, including Smart Padala centers, SM Business Centers, Robinsons Business Centers inside Robinsons Department Stores, 7-Eleven Outlets, Touchpay Kiosks, UnionBank ATMs, Shopwise, Wellcome, 2Go, ExpressPay, Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Pawnshop branches, BDO, UnionBank Online, RCBC Online Banking, and financial institutions that are part of InstaPay, among many others.
