DSWD hotline update

- By ELLALYN DE VERA-RUIZ

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is advising the public that it is changing its service provider for its secondary hotline access numbers.

Hence, DSWD’s text hotlines, which include the 11-digit access number 0917-8902327 and short-digit access numbers 3456 and 2327, will no longer be active.

All messages that will be sent to these numbers will no longer be received by the Department’s short text messaging (SMS)-based information systems, such as the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program grievance system and its system of reporting disaster assistance-related concerns.

In the meantime, the public may send their concerns to the DSWD through its primary text hotline access number, 0918912-2813 or through email address inquiry@dswd.gov.ph.

The public may also send their complaints or inquiries about the programs or services of the Department through the DSWD Disaster Response Management Bureau’s e-Reklamo platform, a webbased complaints management ticket system through http://ereklamo.dswd.gov.ph/ or Email to ereklamo@dswd.gov.ph

“Rest assured that we will immediately inform the public of the new secondary hotline numbers once available as DSWD is keen on communicating with the public. In the meantime, those who have questions, complaints, or feedback may use the abovementioned contact information,” DSWD Secretary Virginia Orogo said.
