Caring management team makes resident feel at home

- Purisima Jereza is a unit owner at Flair Towers

Ahome is a word that comes with many definitions. Some associate it with people who live in it. Some relate it to fixtures, ambiance, or decorations. Others attribute it to thoughts, memories or emotions.

For Flair Towers resident Purisima Jereza, a place feels like home when it reflects the warmth, love, and care of those who live in it.

“I consider a place a home when I feel loved by people who live in it,” the 76-year-old Christian missionary said.

It’s the exact feeling she felt when she moved into the DMCI Homes twotower development at the corner of Reliance and Pines Streets in Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City in 2014.

More than DMCI Homes’ signature resort ambiance and quality homes, she said it is the sense of belongingness in Flair Towers that is magnified by the staff of the Property Management Office (PMO) which has endeared her to the community.

“I’m happy because we’re like a one big happy family. They don’t treat me like a unit owner. I really appreciate it that they treat me like ‘nanay’ or ‘lola’,” she said.

Jereza, who owns a studio unit in the modern tropical themed-development, has nothing but praise for the dedication shown by the property management team in attending to the needs of unit owners and taking care of the property.

“They are all good and pleasant. They always have a smile. Everybody here, from the guards, the custodians, landscape personnel, I get along with them well,” she said. “So I’m really happy with the community. Of course, there are matters that I disagree with, but they would always listen to my concerns.”

Jereza especially felt the customer service of the PMO staff when she encountered severe leg muscle cramps and had trouble breathing recently.

“I had trouble breathing so I called the guard to ask if they have an oxygen tank, and they had one,” she narrated. “They responded immediately. The guards came with their officer to deliver the oxygen tank. Their presence of mind is really commendable,” she said.

Citing their hard work in presenting solutions to issues and for going out of their way to address the concerns of unit owners, the entire PMO team of Flair Towers was even nominated by Jereza as one of the awardees of the 2017-2018 edition of DMCI Homes’ internal employee recognition program ‘Sikat.’

“They’re very helpful and fun to be with. Never did I feel that I’m a stranger here. That’s why I always get sad when a member of the PMO staff gets promoted or transferred to another project,” she disclosed.

Having found a “home” in the Flair Towers community, Jereza is convinced she made the right choice when she gave in to the prodding of her daughter to buy a unit there.

“It’s like I live in a resort. There is also a sense of privacy unlike mixed-use condos. If you want to relax, this is the place to stay,” Jereza added.

“They say it’s a wise venture because of the strategic location of the property. But for me, it’s the people that I live with which really makes Flair Towers a priceless investment,” she said.
