Acienda Designer Outlet opens in Silang, Cavite
Shoppers now have a place to go when they are looking to find the best buys in a setting that is out of the ordinary.
Acienda Designer Outlet (ADO) in Silang, Cavite, opened last Oct. 26, will offer big discounts from well-loved fashion brands just in time for the holiday season.
“We are happy to open this international-style shopping concept in the Philippines, where we are offering a novel experience for Filipino shoppers and tourists. Every detail at Acienda Designer Outlet is carefully planned to give our guests a fun day out with a mix of great bargains, good food, and a distinct feel of being in Europe,” said Jayden Lewis, head of Leasing for Asia of Freeport Retail.
Jeffrey Ng, president of Cathay Land, welcomed government leaders of Cavite, including 5th District Rep. Roy Loyola, Silang Mayor Emilia Poblete, and Gil Linaja, executive assistant to Gov. Jesus Crispin Remulla.
Ng gave a tour to Mayor Poblete, showed her the shops and sights around Acienda Designer Outlet, and promised that more top international brands will open soon to excite shoppers and tourists. He added that they are constantly looking for even more ways to make the ADO shopping trip a memorable one.
Included in the line-up of outlet stores that offer as much as 80 percent discounts are Archive, Geox, Reef, Sunglass Haven, 158 Designer’s Boulevard of the SSI Group, Levi’s, Oakley, Just Jewels, Mango, Guess, Mossimo, The Rail, and Kid’s Depot.
For shoe addicts, there’s also a range of footwear from brands such as Florsheim and Naturalizer from RSI, Asics, Onitsuka, Vans, Oregon Premium Outlet Store, Nike, and Skechers.
ADO, which is a collaboration between international developer Freeport Retail from the UK and local partner Cathay Land, is expected to draw thousands of shoppers daily, not only for the discounts, but also because it offers a different kind of shopping experience for Filipinos.
ADO is loaded with many Instagrammable and Facebook-ready spots inspired by popular European tourist attractions.
Among the design elements that can be found in the sprawling retail hub are a three-story French windmill, replicas of the Eiffel Tower and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and vintage telephone booths inspired by London. Vintage bikes and tandem bikes for couples are scattered in key areas for those who want to take a snapshot.
Then, after a full day of shopping and photo shoots, buyers can also take a snack break from among the food stands and restaurants that will serve a range of continental and Filipino favorites.
The F&B area will carry a range of cuisines from Wine Bank, Pizza Warehouse, Cold Stone, and Café Passcuci.
