-

Leading audio brand JBL takes partying to a whole new level as they bring the first ever Sound Fest event in Manila.

Held at the World Trade Center, the JBL Sound Fest hosted Filipino artists including rock band Bamboo, indie band Autotelic, as well as internationally-renowned DJs Tom Taus and Jennifer Lee.

Alongside the fun brought by the free concert, JBL also welcomed the new JBL PartyBox, their latest offering that will amplify everyone’s party experience. The JBL PartyBox 300 has True Wireless Stereo feature which allows up to two more JBL PartyBox to be connected through Bluetooth. With 18 hours of playtime, the JBL PartyBox 300 has 10,000mAh of battery which can be used to fuel up other Android devices via USB charge. Aside from this, the JBL PartyBox 300 also has light effects of Meter, Pulse, and Party Mode. It will soon be available locally for R29,999.

Prior to the first-ever JBL Sound Fest, JBL also rocked the streets of the party capital of the world, Las Vegas, for its annual JBL Fest.

Held as a three-day party, this year’s JBL Fest was headlined by Hollywood artists Pitbull and Ellie Goulding. Other artists who performed were Tinie Tempah, DJ Tigerlily, with special appearances of Priyanka Chopra, Quincy Jones, and AR Rahman, among others.

Guests and JBL Fest winners were also given a chance to wander at the luxurious corners of Las Vegas including an exclusive helicopter ride over Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Grand Canyon West.

Included as guests for this year’s JBL Fest are the winners of the contest opened for JBL users in the Philippines. Five lucky names were chosen including Denise Oliver Choi.

Asked about his experience at the JBL Fest 2018, Choi described the trip as an amazing one.

“The experience in Las Vegas is amazing. We really enjoyed the helicopter ride and we were able to see Rachel Platten, Ellie Goulding, and Pitbull live. It was a one of a kind experience, “Choi said.

Choi, who has been a JBL user for two years now said that their experience at the JBL Fest mirrors his impression for the brand which he regarded as “fun and exciting.”

Now on its second year, JBL Fest is an annual event held by Harman International as a way of giving back to their loyal customers through a bizarre concert experience. Prior to this year’s celebration, the inaugural edition of the JBL Fest was also held in Las Vegas top-billed by singer Demi Lovato, pop band DNCE, and NBA Star Damian Lilliard.
