Sun Life Prosperity funds bag 17 PIFA awards

Sun Life Asset Management Company, Inc. (SLAMCI) finished 2018 with flying colors as it was the most awarded asset management company at the Philippine Investment Funds Association (PIFA) 12thh Annual Awards Night recently held at the Tower Club, Makati city.

The company received 17 awards for its Sun Life Prosperity Funds. SLAMCI won top honors in five categories: the Sun Life Prosperity Phil. Equity Fund, Inc. topped the 3-Year ReturnEquity Fund Category (Peso Denominated); the Sun Life Prosperity Money Market Fund, Inc. outperformed other funds in the 1-Year and 3-Year ReturnsMoney Market Fund Category; and the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund, Inc. dominated the 3-Year and 5-Year Returns the Balanced Fund Category - Foreign Currency Denominated.

Meanwhile, the following funds placed second in their respective categories: the Sun Life Prosperity Balanced Fund, Inc. in the 1-Year ReturnBalanced Fund Category (Peso Denominated); the Sun Life Prosperity Bond Fund, Inc. in the 1-Year Return-Bond Fund Category (Peso Denominated); the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund, Inc. in the 1-Year Return-Balanced Fund Category (Foreign Currency Denominated); the Sun Life Prosperity Money Market Fund, Inc. in the 5-Year ReturnMoney Market Fund Category; and the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Abundance Fund, Inc. in the 1-Year Return-Bond Fund Category (Foreign Currency Denominated).

Seven SLAMCI funds were also named third place: the Sun Life Prosperity Phil.
