More revenue regional directors and other key field personnel are expected to be revamped following the retirement shortly of the head of the large taxpayers service (LTS) which collects roughly 70 percent of the annual total take of the agency, and the splitting of the tax rich Quezon City and Makati revenue regional offices.

In a travel assignment order signed by Revenue Commissioner Caesar R. Dulay, Manila Revenue Regional Director Romulo Aguila, Jr. and Quezon City Revenue Regional Director Marina De Guzman exchanged position.

Also given new assignments were Regional Directors Jethro Sabariaga from San Fernando, Pampanga to Laguna-Quezon-Marinduque (LaQueMar), Edgar Tolentino from LaQueMar to San Fernando, Pampanga; Antonio Jonathan Jaminola from the Cordillerra Autonomous Region (CAR) to Eastern Visayas, Maria Grace Javier from Eastern Visayas to CAR, Thelma Milabao from Tuguegarao City to Calasiao, Pangasinan.

Clavelina Nacar from Calasiao to Tuguegarao City, Esmeralda Tabule from Koronadal City to Davao City, Nuzar Balatero from Davao City to Cagayan de `Oro City, and Lorna Tobias from LaQueMar assistant regional director to director of Koronadal City.

Fiscal authorities have not yet fixed the collection target for the year, but insiders estimated it to be around
