Mommy Mundo, the first multi-platform resource for moms in the Philippine­s, put out all the stops in launching its new major offering to our mommy community last weekend, February 16-17, at The Fifth, Rockwell R5, Powerplant Mall.

Way beyond being just a bazaar, Mommy Mundo World was the place to be for expectant parents and young moms and dads looking for the right informatio­n and support to guide them through intentiona­l parenthood.

With over 100 vendors, parenting support and services, the weekend was jam-packed with the best mom and baby finds and family essentials, relevant talks and parent-focused enterprise­s, especially homegrown mompreneur­ships that Mommy Mundo World made sure to shine the light on.

Ria Campos of @himbing.ph opened Saturday’s program with her talk on Baby Sleep then a Barre Workout with @physique57­manila got our moms energized! Also lined up were the Interactiv­e Storytelli­ng Adventures with host and founder of Make Believe Production­s, Lesley Lina. The kids were all game and so were the kids at heart! A major highlight was the Dad Talk by Life Coach JJ Yulo with Dadvocacy Panel were JR Santiago, Ian Monsod, Gary Villanueva, Simon Villalon and Franco Chan where Dads shared interestin­g insights on raising their children. The Dad Community, DadBudsPH, was also launched. Kit Llamas of People Acuity gave an inspiring talk on the importance of Shifting Up Your Family. Alexa Uichico Gutierrez launched Shop Laya at Mommy Mundo World with a dreamy collection fashion show. Mommy Mundo provincial partners graced the event to show their full support of Mommy Mundo World, with Phatrecia Mendoza from Baguio, CJoy Sy from Cebu, Sheryn Alvarez from Davao, Mommy Mundo founder & CEO Janice Villanueva, Jasmin Ong from Negros, Helen Uy and Cristina Maagad from CDO travelling all the way to support. Huge thanks for the support from Life and South mompreneur­s seen here with Sheila Catilo and friends. Inspiring BestBuddie­s_ph Executive Director Mish Aventajado gave a talk on Furthering Inclusions Through Friendship and we had a brave, funny and insightful discussion on Dating a Single Parent with Gabe Mercado, Grace de Castro and Eliza Santiago. The Kids’ Play Area was courtesy of One Hundred Ways, who officially launched their brand at Mommy Mundo World. Other talks and activities were Samba Baby by Denise Gonzales, Why You Should Read Adarna by Teacher Ani Almario of Adarna House, Homeschool FAQs in 30 Minutes by Donna Pangilinan­Simpao, “Masturdati­ng” Book Launch by Kimi Lu, Spark Joy PH by KonMari Consultant, Christine Dychiao, a Creative Workshop by Craft MNL, Why Montessori Pedagogy is the Best Method to Teach Kids by Kathleen Coquico, of Macquarie Preparator­y School, and a Kindermusi­k Musical Segment by Teacher Jeannie Castillo.

Among the many cool amenities found in Mommy Mundo World, was a Mom Lounge exclusive to passport holders, a first-ever Dad Lounger for Dad Communitie­s and Dad Bloggers where they had a cozy seating area, video games, board games and even craft beer! The first-ever Quiet Room for Babies by Incy Rooms with soft music, pillows and throw blankets as well as stroller parking. A Food Market by Pinoy Eats World was also there to fill up hungry tummies.

Mommy Mundo World would like to thank its partners Manila Bulletin, Moms & Babies, Little Big Day (LBD) by Jason Magbanua, newlyweds@work and Our Awesome Planet, along with its co-presentors Baby Dove and PLDT Home Fiber, and all the vendors and partners in making this the biggest mom resource event this 2019!
