Project offers investment proposition near BGC
The growth of Bonifacio Global City (BGC) has presented an investment opportunity within the hospitality industry. As office buildings and commercial areas continue to rise in the business district, there is a need for more accommodations for both business and leisure travellers.
Boutique developer C-5 Mansions Development Corp. has foreseen this growing demand for luxury accommodations in the area and, in response, it has launched the Aspen Hotel project in select floors of its Ridgewood Towers Premier project in Fort Bonifacio.
“The fast rise of office and commercial components in BGC poses an increased demand for short-term accommodations. There are no hotels in the Taguig and Makati side of C5, and Aspen Hotel can fill this gap,” said C-5 Mansions GM Alfonso Keh Jr.
The real estate development company and its hotel industry partner Novel Residential Concepts Inc. recently held a private function with top brokers to present the unique investment proposition of Aspen Hotel. The business concept will offer units for sale at the 14th to 19th floors of Ridgewood Towers Premier solely for Aspen Hotel operations.
Under the unique business proposition, the Automatic Hotel Unit Lease Agreement on the luxury property’s rooms will earn for its investors a minimum guaranteed rent of six percent per annum based on the total cost of the unit investment.
Bonus rents depending on the hotel’s occupancy rates are also offered, with investors being able to earn up to a total of 12 percent rent per annum.
The recent investor’s briefing was met with enthusiasm by real estate brokers who immediately recognized the opportunity presented by the project for their clientele. This presents an alternative asset class which can yield higher rates than bank time deposits and a shield against volatile stock market.
The hotel’s win-win proposition that can give a good balance of yearly return and capital appreciation that is secured by real estate whose title will be under the buyers’ names.
“We foresee a strong demand for our accommodations on this side of C5 Road, and this means that our investors can be confident on the growth of their investments now and in the future,” Novel Director Cris Giovanni Chiong said. “Aspen Hotel will consistently offer better rates and better ROI for our investors.”
The two partner firms have started the project at an opportune time, as C-5 Mansions recently won the the 2018 Best Affordable Condo of the Year in Luzon by the Philippines Buyers’ Choice Property Awards of property portal Lamudi for its Ridgewood Towers Premier project.
